Troubleshoot

- Are the filters clean? >>> Remove, clean and refit.
- Can you hear the drain pump running? >>> Yes >>> Book a service call.
- Can you hear the drain pump running? >>> No - Is there power to the unit? Is it switched on? Is the door closed? >>> If yes to all the above book service call.
- Is the unit newly installed? >>> Spigot drain could be blocked underneath sink. Please check that there is a hole drilled out in spigot bend to allow water to come through. If there is no hole refer to your installer non warranty issue.
Other possible causes
- Squashed drain hose
- Blocked drain hose
- Spigot not properly drilled out
- Foreign object in drain pump
- Drain hose not at correct height
Cracked spray arm
- Remove the spray arm and run finger nail along the edge of the join in the spray arm. If there is a split, a new spray arm is required.
Loose spray arm (not seated correctly or missing seal)
- Check if the spray arm can be easily lifted from the spray arm holder.
- When the spray arm is removed by lifting the spray arm from the centre of the spray arm is there a click (locking Click) >>> If not then the spray arm needs to be pressed down to lock it into position.
- Not Warranty
Door seal is not seated correctly
- If there is water leaking from the front door or the bottom of the front door.
- Check the rubber seal around the stainless steel tub, make certain it is secure and not loose. This can be caused by overloading with heavy dishes causing the wheels to spread open. If it is loose re fit to the tub. May require a technician.
- There is another seal at the bottom of the tub this cannot be repaired by the customer and will require a technician if it is damaged.
Cracked / Split drain hose
- Water is leaking from under or from behind the dishwasher.
- The dishwasher wont run or fill but can hear a humming noise (from the drain pump).
- New drain hose required
- Technician required.
Fill hose is loose
- Water is leaking from under or from behind the dishwasher.
- The dishwasher wont run or fill but can hear a humming noise (from the drain pump).
- Fill hose could be loose.
- Tighten the hose at the back of the Dishwasher.
- Tighten the hose at the water tap.
- Replace the leaky fill hose.
Overloaded with dishes
- Leaking from the front or sides of the dishwasher.
- Remove some dishes.
- Re-position dishes.
Water leaking from the rear of the machine
- Turn off water supply and book a service call.
- Fuse blown, or the circuit break tripped >>> Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker. Remove any other appliances sharing the same circuit with the dishwasher.
- Power supply is not turned on >>> Make sure the dishwasher is turned on and the door is closed securely. Make sure the power cord is properly plugged into the wall socket.
- Water pressure is low >>> Check the water supply is connected properly and the water is turned on.
- Door of dishwasher not properly closed >>> Make sure to close the door properly and latch it.
- Twisted or trapped drain hose >>> Check the drain hose.
- Filter clogged >>> Check coarse the filter.
- Kitchen sink clogged >>> Check the kitchen sink to make sure it is draining well. If the problem is the kitchen sink that is not draining, you may need a plumber rather than a serviceman for the dishwasher.
- Overloaded with dishes
- Spray arm not rotating
- Blocked spray arm
- Spray arm not seated correctly
- Incorrect detergent
- Too much detergent
- Filters not clean
- Dishes not rinsed first
- Faulty flow diverter >>> send technician
- Improper loading >>> Load the dishwasher as suggested in 'How To Use' guide.
- Too little rinse-aid >>> Increase the amount of rinse-aid / refill the rinse-aid dispenser.
- Dishes are removed too soon >>> Do not empty your dishwasher immediately after washing. Open the door slightly so that the steam can come out. Don't take out the dishes until the inside temperature is safe to touch. Unload the lower basket first to prevent the dropping water from the upper basket.
Check that nothing is obstructing the spray arms.
- The dishwasher filter is used to keep large food particles and foreign objects away from the pump.
- The filters in the bottom of the dishwasher needs to be clean.
- If your filter is clogged, it may be causing the cleaning problem.
- Overloaded with Dishes (Remove or reposition dishes).
- Spray arm not Rotating
- Blocked Spray Arm
- Spray Arm Not Seated Correctly
- Incorrect Detergent
- Too Much Detergent
- Filters Not Clean
- Dishes Not Rinsed First
- Faulty Flow Diverter >>> send technician
Blocked Spray arm
- The spray arm could have blocked spray holes clean the holes with a sharp implement or replace the arm if the blockage is severe. (not warranty).
- To check if the spray arm is rotating while the dishwasher is in wash mode carefully but quickly open the door and note if the arm is rotating or has moved from its initial position.
- Clean all the filters.
Spray arm not rating
- To check if the spray arm is rotating while the dishwasher is in wash mode carefully but quickly open the door and note if the arm is rotating or has moved from its initial position.
- The spray arm could have blocked spray holes clean the holes with a sharp implement or replace the arm if the blockage is severe. (not warranty).
- The spray arm could be jammed against dishes.
- Faulty wash pump.
