Troubleshoot
- The distance between the body and the gas top is too long >>> Readjust the distance.
- Too much ventilation from open doors or windows >>> Choose a new place and reassemble the machine.
Simple test to check the product is working to specification.
- If a sheet of A4 printer paper is placed against the filters on the underside will it hold there while running at full speed?
Yes
- The machine is working as intended.
No
- Ensure the product is installed on a suitable flue system.
- The total length of the system must be no greater than 3 meters
- Their should be no more than one 90 degree bend over the 3 meter length
- The flue should be of the appropriate size
Noisy range hood normally have a failed motor or Impellor. Factors that cause the failure:
- Leaving the cook top running with no pans to adsorb the heat.
- Inadequate flue system will cause a back pressure in the motor and cause it to shake and fail.
Key points to check on the flue system and simple rules that must be abided to.

Something in contact with the fan blade
- Contact service department.
Light on, but motor does not work
- Leaf blocked >>> Get rid of blocking.
- Capacitor damaged >>> Replace capacitor.
- Motor jammed bearing damaged >>> Replace motor.
- Bad smell from the motor >>> Replace motor.
Light does not work, motor does not work
- Besides the above mentioned, check the following:
- Light damaged >>> Replace lights.
- Power cord looses >>> Connect the wires as per electric diagram.
Rangehoods do not have oil in the motor. The oil will be build up from extraction. Remove the filters and clean them per the user manual.
